Most hospital procedures are done on an outpatient basis, as patients recover more quickly in a familiar home environment. Patients that undergo hospital procedures will be discharged after they become alert and comfortable.
All hospitalized patients should be current on their vaccines for rabies and distemper viruses. Unvaccinated patients will receive immunizations upon admission to the hospital.
During office hours a veterinary technician is available to answer questions. Any concerns that require consultation with a doctor will be answered as soon as the doctor is available. After hours a doctor is on call to respond in the event of any emergency.
